Joaquin Augusto Lovo Lopez started Finca Bella Aurora over 50 years ago. He named the farm after his mother, “Beautiful Aurora”. At that time, only 3 acres of coffee were being harvested. Today he exclusively grows the Caturra varietal on 50 acres. This Cup of Excellence winner says his success comes from “a good plant, climate, and soil conditions in the area of Dipilto and picking only the mature cherry with excellent processing.”
